Founded by Shri. Sunand Gopal Sahasrabudhe, who pioneered the Crimping technology, took a lot of effort to convince the end users of the benefits of Crimping.
Connectors & crimping machines:- Continuous & consistent efforts were made to make power cable users aware of the importance of good quality cable end connectors & equally efficient installation practices. Generally, cable quality is given extreme importance & users are very selective when it comes to cable selection. But equally important is the end connector & its installation. If the cable lug or ferrule is of inferior quality it reduces the joint life. So cable lugs for terminals & ferrules for straight joints should be of equivalent quality & capacity as that of the cable.
We, M/s. S G Electric, manufacture Aluminum Lugs/ Terminals & Ferrules/In line Connectors suitable for XLPE/HT cables & PILC/PVC/LT cables. We take utmost care at various stages to maintain the required quality standards. Our vision is to deliver superior products at competitive prices.
We also manufacture Hydraulic Crimping machines suitable for laid cables & overhead Conductors.
Only the quality of connectors cannot accomplish a good joint. To achieve a good joint the crimping tool/ machine used should also be of good standard i.e The die with the cross-sectional area under the crimp should be such that the crimped area if cut at the center across the crimp should be homogenous & void free. This ensures the absence of air pockets thereby arresting oxidation.
